Is Dark Matter remains of old universes?

This is an somewhat older article - reviwed to initiate the new site... It will in time be replaced with other like articles.

Purpose of these pages are to exploit what we can actually deduct of our cosmos - based on purely logical interpretations of what we can observe and measure.

...and the trigger for me was the question - What is outside the universe??? More often than not the answers from people working with this as professionals are 'nothing - there is only the universe' - or - 'it makes no sense to make speculative models of stuff we can not measure'. And quite right - as is we are barely (Voyager) able to observe our selves from outside our solarsystem, but not from our galaksy - and absolutely nothing from outside our universe.

But I disagree in that it does not make sense.... So - hope you'll get by again in near future, when I get a start on my ligical exploration of cosmology!

Dark Matter is seemingly inert matter in the universe, only 'visible' by its influence on gravity. Convincing evidence is found that the matter must be present, but so far no direct observations have been made. Thus the matter iself gives good cause for speculation.

And for me as well.

By now it is commonly accepted that the universe seems to be forever expanding, and even at increased speed. This would most likely lead til it ending in what is now termed 'big-rip'. However it is quite obvoius that the matter in the universe can not just disappear - but will keep being spread always thinner in an cosmos witout ending.

Also there is consensus that given enough time the matter will cool down to nearly the same temperature as empty space, thereby ending to emit measurable radioation in form of heat or even light.

Now it is only a small step to suggest that dark matter is actually what remains of old universes! Oh - yes, I DO suggest that our current visible usninverse is not THE one and only. That would seem real illogical. Given the now expected ending of our universe, a waste endless cosmoss, unlimited time - it would seem quite logical that universes continously appear and die..

Roger Penrose is theorizing a bit on the same lines in his book ...  using the term ...pulzating universe - making mathematical arguments that conditions by the end of te universe will closely mirror the conditions just after big-bang, and thus suggesting that it could be end and starting point of a cycle.

At least we have no clear understading / theories on what actualle caused (causes?) big-bang, and for all I know it could be a quite commen fenomen.

Of course there are some obvious questions which must be considdered following this idea.

Why is dark matter seemingly stationary? If it IS remains as described, then it should be travelling through cosmos at immense speed, and not 'setle' in our universe.

..could this be the result of the inflation after big-bang - sort of catching the dark matter?

Why is dark matter not readily detectable - there must immense amounts of it by now (given unending time and so on)?

..culd it be that the big-bang trigger does not work (or the inflation part) when amount of matter locally in cosmos is to high? Then new cycles would only trigger when old universe has dispersed enough. And - given the amounts of dark matter needed to fill the gap in our current calculations, it would not fill a lot pr. cubic m - (ref. avarage matter in universe)

..finally we have no means of observing past the 'event horizon' of our own current universe. We observe back in time obeserving light which has been billions of years in reaching us. One could argue that Cosmic Background Radiation and fluctioations as measured by .... might be attributable to influence by dark matter by the end of inflation.... But that is even more speculative.

Just wondering....
